There's no better way to get a feel for life at the University of Debrecen than with a campus tour. Explore UD’s various faculties, learn about our campus history and culture, and discover why UD is home to bold and brilliant students just like you!

Campus Tour options

Based on your and our colleagues' availability, you can choose from various options to get to know the University of Debrecen.

1. Prospective Student/Family In-Person Tours

Join us for a 60-minute walking tour of the Main Campus. Students can explore facilities, academics, and student life during a staff-led tour. We can accommodate up to 4 visitors at a time. This tour will take place outside, therefore we strongly encourage you to check the local weather forecast and dress accordingly.

This campus tour is for you if you are a prospective student of the following faculties: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Science and Technology, Humanities

Options for Agricultural, Economics, Health Sciences, Informatics, and Engineering programs are located on different campuses. If you would like to visit one of these campuses, we suggest taking a Virtual Campus Tour.

All in-person visits are by appointment only. Due to limited tour capacities registration is required, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated at the Clinical facilities. In the event of cancellations or if further dates are added, the registration page will be updated to accurately reflect tour availability.

Before the campus tour, we encourage you to watch our recorded Information Session, where you will receive an overview of UD admission and application processes for the Medical and Health Sciences programs or our other programs.

You may also book a 30-minute Q&A session with your admission coordinator where you can ask your academic-related questions. You may indicate it when you register for the campus tour.

Things to Know Before You Register:

• Your party cannot exceed four people in total
• If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your tour is scheduled to begin, your tour will have departed, and you will be provided a self-guided walking tour map
• When you register, you will have the opportunity to inform us of your mobility-related accessibility needs. We will do our best to accommodate you
• Stay home if you are sick: Do not come to campus if you are ill. Instead, please benefit from the Virtual Campus Tour.

If you are unable to visit our campus, you can take a Virtual Campus Tour.

2. Virtual Campus Tour
